Card Condition Guidelines
At Skyfox Games, we strive to ensure every card you purchase meets your expectations. Below is our detailed assessment guide for both standard and foil variants.
📸 High-Value Transparency: To keep processing times minimal, we provide photographs for all cards valued at $100.00 CAD or more upon request before purchase or shipment.
✨ Near Mint (NM)
Cards graded as Near Mint (NM) show little to no signs of wear. These cards retain a clean surface, sharp corners, and nearly flawless edges.
Near Mint Foil (NMF): Scrutinized heavily. Must be nearly flawless with minimal clouding or print defects.
👍 Lightly Played (LP)
Minor edge or corner wear, or slight surface scuffs. No major defects such as bends or water damage are present.
Lightly Played Foil (LPF): May show light surface marks or minor warping. Scratches on foil are more noticeable.
🃏 Moderately Played (MP)
Noticeable signs of use: whitening on edges, surface scuffing, or a light crease. The card remains playable and intact.
Moderately Played Foil (MPF): May exhibit clouding, border flaking, or warping.
⚠️ Heavily Played (HP)
Significant wear, major creases, and whitening. Includes up to 30% liquid damage if still sleeve-playable.
🚫 Damaged (DMG)
Serious flaws: large tears, bends, or structural compromise. Includes cards with over 30% liquid damage or foreign substances.
