This document outlines our shipping policies, pre-order conditions, and in-store procedures for both our online store and retail location in Oshawa, Ontario. Please read carefully to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
📦 Shipping & Order Fulfillment
Estimated Shipping Times
Due to increased online demand, shipping times may experience delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to process all orders as quickly as possible.
Order Processing Times
Online Orders: Typically processed within 24 to 72 hours. TCG singles may vary.
In-Store Orders: Ready in 20–30 minutes (often sooner)
We’ll notify you as soon as your in-store order is ready.
In-Store Singles Order Requirements
To keep this fast and consistent:
- 5 cards or less
- Substitution slip required
- Must be placed on a customer account (name + phone number required)
- On-site / in-stock items only
- No special requests (photos, variant hunting, “best copy,” etc.)
Availability
Wait times may change depending on queue volume. We’ll confirm your estimated ready time before placing your in-store order.
In-store singles ordering may also be temporarily unavailable due to staffing or queue volume.

Note: Orders will not be expedited, and we do not offer rush services at this time.
📦 Pre-Orders & Shipping
Orders containing pre-order items will be held until all items are available. If you wish to receive part of your order earlier, an additional shipping fee is required to split the shipment.
Shipping Recommendations
- We highly recommend selecting a tracked shipping option.
- Skyfox Games is not liable for packages marked as delivered that are lost, stolen, or misplaced.
- If an order is shipped without tracking or insurance, we are unable to assist in the event of loss or theft.
🌍 Regional Restrictions
Due to manufacturer policies, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! pre-orders can only be shipped within Canada.
🔄 Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
Final Sale Items
- TCG Singles (including pre-orders)
- TCG Sealed Product (including pre-orders)
- Tournament entries
- Booster boxes, booster packs, Pop! figures
TCG Sealed Product Cancellations
These items are final sale and non-refundable. They are ordered from our distributors on your behalf and are not eligible for cancellation, even in the event of manufacturer delays or wave-based fulfillment strategies.
Non-TCG Pre-Order Cancellations
Cancellations for board games, RPGs, toys, and collectibles will incur a 20% processing fee.
Exchanges
Exchanges are accepted for unopened products returned within 30 days with a valid receipt.
- If the new item costs more, the customer must pay the difference.
- If the new item costs less, the difference will be issued as store credit.
Restocking fees of 15% to 25% may apply to cancelled or returned TCG sealed products at our discretion.
🎴 TCG Singles & Inventory Accuracy
If a specific version of a card is unavailable, we may substitute it with a copy of the same rarity, condition, artwork, and market value.
Pictures can be provided for orders of singles of value of $100.00 or more.
Please note that our card condition guide applies, and cards listed as Near Mint (NM) cannot be guaranteed to be in gradable condition.
📦 Letter Mail Shipping (TCG Singles Only – Canada Only)
- Maximum order value: $49.99 CAD
- Maximum 50 singles per order
- Only TCG singles allowed in the cart
- No tracking provided
- Available only within Canada
Non-qualifying orders may be cancelled, refunded, or subject to additional shipping fees.
🛒 High-Value Orders ($500+ CAD)
If your order total is $500 or more before tax:
- You must present the credit card used for purchase and matching photo ID at pickup.
- First-time customers may be asked to complete payment in-store.
Online Order Verification:
- For security purposes, online customers may be required to repurchase their order using PayPal. The original transaction will be refunded in full.
- Alternatively, customers can submit clear photos of the front and back of their government-issued ID and credit card (with only the last four digits visible) to verify their transaction.
💳 Store Credit Policy
- Issued under the recipient’s name and must be used by that individual.
- Valid photo ID is required to redeem store credit.
- Store credit is non-transferable.
- Receipts cannot substitute for ID.
🕒 Abandoned Orders
In-store pickup orders are held for 30 days. A final notice will be issued 7 days prior to reclamation.
After this period, items are considered abandoned and reclaimed. No refunds will be issued once this process begins.
If you're unable to pick up your order, shipping can be arranged at your expense.
🎲 Damaged or Incomplete Games
If a purchased game is missing pieces, please contact the game’s publisher for replacement. Skyfox Games is happy to assist in directing you to the appropriate contact.
💰 Pricing & Pre-Order Guarantees
- Prices may fluctuate based on market conditions.
Pre-Order Price Guarantee:
- Your pre-order price is locked in at time of purchase—even if the product price increases.
- If the price drops before release, store credit for the difference may be issued at our discretion.
Skyfox Games reserves the right to cancel or revise orders affected by listing errors. You will be notified, and no penalties will apply in such cases.
🗓️ Release Dates & Tariffs
- An item is considered released once “Pre-Order” is removed from its product title.
- Release dates may shift due to distribution, manufacturing, or publishing delays.
- As of February 2025, pre-orders may be subject to tariff-based price increases. We will contact affected customers for approval if this occurs.❓
